Canal Street String Band examines “Folk and Blues Roots of the Grateful Dead” in Long Lake and Saratoga Springs

CSSB Cover copyThe Buffalo-based Canal Street String Band will give two performances in the region this weekend that will celebrate the music of the Grateful Dead from a traditional perspective. The band will give a free concert at the Long Lake Public Library Friday, March 24th at 7 PM, and then play two nights later at the legendary Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs Sunday, March 26th at 7 pm.
The CSSB has been entertaining audiences throughout New York for nearly seven years, and has just recently added the Grateful Dead’s music to its repertoire. You can learn more about the band here.
